Has anyone heard and tried the 100% pure green coffee bean extract that Dr. Oz recommended?

While I like Oz, I view recommendations of celebrity profesionals with a sceptical eye.  Especially any weight loss snake oils.  There is always yet another but the Western world stays fat.

I've never heard of this stuff.  What is it reputed to do?

Its supposed to be a weight loss supplement without extra exercise and no diet change by regulating/controlling glucose levels.  I was interested to find out if anyone having had WLS had tried it.  Thanks for responding.

Sounds like the holy grail!  Something like this could put an end to hyperinsulinemia and type 2 diabetes.  Before spending a nickle on this stuff I'd check out pubmed for the clinical trials.  Stuff that makes good tv is often based on experiments that suggest that something may do something else.

If this is real I want the formulation used in the clinical trial.
I want to see clinically based hard numbers.  We better find it now before the drug companies pull an x-files like dissapearance on everyone involved.     I'll post links if I find any credible info.  Something like this may help steroid users avoid weight gain by controlling the drug induced hyperinsulinemia.
