Lesson learned the hard way....TAKE 2!!!

FOAMIES!!! I finally understand what it is...and it don't feel good at all. I know.. I'm eating to fast! and my stomach is getting full and the sputum get backed up in my mouth causing me to spit, spit and spit...Ugh!

Will this ever stop...will I learn how to eat properly...will I get this Thru my big head! I don't know. Maybe I'm slow

This week I haven't lost any weight but for some damn reason I don't give a hoot..I'm concern about eating and that the only thing I know the weight will come off but I'm not trippin. I JUST WANT TO EAT AND FEEL KINDA NORMAL IF THAT MAKE ANY SENSE.

Question...how long did it take for you to learn how to eat

I'm 7 weeks out and still learning. I tend to get something "stuck" at least once a week. Sometimes it's so discouraging that I don't really want to eat at all... Oh the joys of WLS .

So is it getting better or is it worst? Cause I'm doing this pretty much ever time I eat just about.

Ok Ladies I'm keeping it REAL and being HONEST eating to fast is a very BAD HABIT stop it now BECAUSE if you dont you will get comfortable doing it start over eating an get back to where u started from so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww downnnnnnnnn trust me I look back on all these same questions an concerns that I asked all the oldies when I was new an them telling me the same thing did I listen NO because if u eat slow enough your food will need reheated several times cause itll be cold from you eating so slow just saying lol an like grama use to say a hard head makes a soft a%# so PLEASE take heed an enjoy the skinny you!!!!!!

I hear what you saying..and taking note but I have to say at lunch today I ate very slow took very little bites and still had the foamies..like you mentioned before it could be the type of meats or how they are cooked. I tried again later this afternoon and for some reason I didn't have a problem at all..So I'm going to chalk it as the texture maybe. believe me you I do not want to go thru this every time I eat something. My a$$ is worn out from learning this lesson ROTF!

i am going on to three years and i am still learning, you have a new stomach and still eat like you used to. make sure your food is the right consistancy, not sure if you are still on liquids or soft food, eat slow and small amounts.

Try taking omeprezole (I think I spelled it correctly) aka Prilosec. It helped me. I'm 2.5 yrs out and I still have to take it  sometimes and got the foamies a few weeks ago out of the blue well not really I was eating too fast and forgot about having WLS.
