Hi everyone.  Thank you for the well wishes.  I was discharged from the hospital yesterday and apparently I can't stay away from the computer too long.  Still in pain...no complications, no appetite....just thirsty.  LOL.

By the way, an ounce every 30 minutes was too much food/drink in the hospital and still is now.  I don't believe I said that.  A new way of living. Lord help all the Divas in the making!!!

Glad to see you crossed over...remember each day will be better than the last. By the weekend if you're getting all your liquid and protein in you will feel great! Trust me....I'm so happy for you and welcome to the loser bench:)

Thanks.  Got my post-op appt with the surgeon on Thursday afternoon.  Going to get my scale on Friday.  And my mother is making sure I go out at least twice a day for a walk.  So definitely keeping busy between my naps.  Smile.  Still working on getting liquid and protein in.  I hope so.  May even start a blog of my experience.  Who knows!!

Please keep me posted on your progress as well.  I hope things are going well for you right now.

Computers are addictive. I was surfing the web the day after surgery (actually I think I surfed the same day I had surgery but thanks to the morphine pump I don't remember much lol).

My only advice at this stage is sip, sip, sip and of course walk as much as you can. My appetite still isn't back but try to sip even when you don't feel like it to avoid dehydration.

Thank you for all the well wishes and positive energy.  I am up and moving more often.  Apparently, I scheduled my post op appt too early and I am going this Thursday.  Yeah!! Hopefully the drain will come out.
