WHAT WE EATIN 2DAY!
I cannot lie to my BAF family so I will serve as a bad example today.
One caveat:
I am 3 yrs post op and I manage my calories carefully. I can get away with a clusterfkcu where you newbies, new maintainers, and pre ops cannot.
What did I eat?
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner:
Piece of purchased fried chicken (flour coated not batter fried) and a large sf oatmeal cookie
- Meal 4 snack:
A large sf oatmeal cookie
- Meal 5 as planned:
Pan seared perch, mashed cauliflower, konjac noodles with my protein tomato cream sauce
- Meal 6 snack:
Who knows but I'm not out of cookies or calories yet.
Water:
3 - 24oz bottles flavored water
Other beverages:
24oz coffee with 8oz non dairy coconut milk beverage
See a pattern here? Leave them damned cookies in the shop. SF or not.
By the end of the day I anticipate I will have made my protein, fat, and calorie goals. However, I expect to exceed my net carb goal by about 10g.

Getting back on track 10yrs later after a REGAIN of approx 35lbs

I loooooove whole grains. Homemade breads and granola are a weakness of mine. Unfortunately, carbs dont love me!
I am really enjoying the flaxseed bread because it still lets me get my bread in without the carbs.
The sooner I get these pounds off, the better! But I really need to learn some patience, I suppose.

RNY on 03/20/12
I finally made it to my 2 week post-op appointment so I can add some chewable food to my diet! LOL
Breakfast - crystal light
Lunch - 2ozs tuna salad
Dinner - 1 homemade turkey meatball w/ tomato sauce & parmesan cheese
Snack - slice of turkey w/ cheese
I've got to force myself to get more protein in. I'm just so tired of shakes!

Try grabbing some unflavored protein. I add it to other foods to boost my protein intake.
When used with foods with a solid flavor of its own you wont even notice the flavor of the protein (its unflavored, but not truly flavorless).
So using your menu from above, you could have mixed it in with you tuna or the tomato sauce.
