Hello everyone,

I am a student from London,and I am getting Duodenal Switch surgery,the date is still not confirmed and I have been waiting for nearly 2 years now for this :-(
I have been lurking on some of the different forums on this site, the UK forum,DS forum etc.
As my surgery gets closer (at the moment they are saying August/September) I feel better about posting,so I hope you don't mind squeezing in a Londoner ! x

Welcome! There is plenty of room for a Black Londoner. Or a non Black Londoner for that matter.

The wait must be tough but thank God you are covered. Americans without the right insurance are screwed or headed to Mexico if they can finance it.

As questions or just be social. This is a nice group of folks.

There is but one requirement:

You must let me know when the 2012 episodes of DR WHO are available for streamng in the UK. Must watch my Brit tv. I'm just "Shameless" about it. ( I really hope somebody got that!)

Thanks, yeah the NHS wonderful, its not perfect but it is so wonderful being able to have free medical care. I think its one of the best things about the UK.
LOL Doctor Who is coming out at Christmas :-) I'm more of a Shameless sort of girl, did you know that the actress who plays Mimi Maguire had a Lapband ?

I did not know that Mimi Maguire's real person was banded. I do remember the episode when she was upset about he weight, lol. Or, should it be :-(.

Pleeeease dont tell me there will be no 2012 Dr Who until the annual Christmas disaster! What the hell is going on? They can't just make this a seasonal event. They just cant!

Not after revealing River Song/ Melody Pond. We are dying for more. I use a UK ip address so I can stream Brit shows. No wonder I have not found January's Dr Who yet!

First Torchwood, now this. (Though most characters are dead they could rebuild with the survivors.) What am I to do? Woe is me.
