Not to hijack this thread but ladies best wishes for you all on getting sleeved. I think its the best of all worlds. Restriction, no foreign devices, no rearranging the intestines.
I selected my surgeon for the sleeve. He was willing to do it but he did not agree it was the best option for me personally. I needed malabsorption for my situation. He did not hard sell the rny and he knew I would not go for the ds at all. Less than a week before my procedure I relented and went rny.
I still wish I could have had the sleeve. Rny turned out well but you can never get the plumbing back to where it was. In the end most of us just need a smaller tummy for a smaller tummy, lol.

Oh man!!! It's so good to see a veteran VSGer on here! Thanks for posting. BTW Dr. Alverez did my lapband surgery and he was amazing! I truly would recommend him to anyone considering going outside of US to get their procedure done.
