NOOK COLOR TO ANDROID TABLET
You have a nook color reader. You've heard it runs android. You've also heard that you can void the warranty by running full android.
Enjoy N2A as in nook to android. Its an SD card with gingerbread pre iinstalled. You can dual boot to nook or android at startup. Now your reader is also a tablet that runs any android app. There is no rooting. The nook os is not touched, therefore no warranty issues.
Unlike many dubious sources for android, this one is available on Amazon. Not satisfied return it within 14 days. Best of all no tech skills needed. Pop it in and go.
There are a few minor glitches, well-known and easily resolved. Available in 8-32gb. $50 for the 16gb. Its well worth the cost for the convenience. Unless you are really into this stuff the twenty you save may cost you in time and effort.

You use your tablet alot so an upgrade would be cool. I don't really need a tablet with a net book, ereader, & smart phone.
What gets me is having an android ereader and being locked out of the full android functions by the seller. Not if I can help it, lol.
I was all set to hack and root honeycomb to the nook os when for an extra ten I could dual boot without the work. I doubt I'll use the tablet functions the way you do but its nice to have the option.
Firefox is a better browser than the nook's system as is the android keyboard. I hated posting from blackberry and nook. Now that I'm using android I may carry the netbook less. Right now it goes everywhere I go but who knows? I may be a tablet convert in the end.
