So yesterday morning I was in Walmart and just so happen to pass a new display that was showcasing Steve Harvey's book and Jennifer Hudson's book.  Usually, I would have just walked past without a second look, but something made me pick it up to see some of the things she said about her journey.  It was interesting that the chapter titles were actually song titles from her albums.

So as thumbed through, I came across a section where she is talking about her weight loss and she wanted to make it clear that she did it the "old fashioned way".  OK, that's cool, I thought to myself.  However, when I kept reading she begins to talk about a conversation that she had with her sister, Julia, where Julia stated that she was going to get her stomach stapled to help her loose weight.  Jennifer states that she didn't even let Julia finish her sentence and proceeded to tell her sister that, that would be cheating.  WOW!!!  Now, I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that was harsh.  I would think that someone who has had weight struggles throughout their life would be less judgmental of those in similar cir****tances.

What do you think?

I think that people who have had weight problems are the most judgmental.   Like I said before Jennifer Hudson is annoying and tries to play the oh me? I'm thin? really?  role too dam much.

Like she didn't cheat.  You know she probably had people cooking for her.  Funny thing is if I had someone cooking for me I would still be fat cause I am so dam greedy.  lol

Jennifer gets on my last nerve, I think she has a beautiful voice, but even before she lost the weight I never liked her because she just came off to me as very uppity. Now that she has lost the weight OMG she is  worst. Just that attitude she may have cause her sister not to do what she needs to do for hersef.

I feel how every you go Thur your journey be it natural or with surgery it is your choice, who is she to past judgment.. Just as I have explained to some of my family and friends just because I've had surgery (lapband to RNY) does not mean that the weight comes off.  Without eating healthy and doing exercise, and working just as hard  as someone doing it natural, people do not realize this is not a magic wand waved and the weight just comes off,  but a tool for those of us who have tried other ways this choice was there for us.

IN  THE STORE THE BOOK WILL STAY!!!!

Who cares what other think about our decision about having WLS, So I say to all of us much success as we go continue on this journey .

Ignorance is bliss for some.  Hopefully her sister won't fall for that bull****

She'd rather pat herself on the back than consider the 95% failure rate of diets, weigh****chers included.  Is it lost on her that other diet spokes persons like herself fall into that overwhelming failure rate?

Hopefully her sis will make her decision based on her own needs.  Just like the diabetic who takes metformin or the person with high cholesterol who takes lipitor, if treating a your condition is cheating then cheat.  Tell the rest of the world to kiss your healthier @$$.

J Hud comes off as a know it all.  I hope her sister does her own research so that she can make an informed decision for herself. Clearly J Hud doesn't understand wls and that her ignorance may be costing her sister valuable time.  I would rather that my sister "cheat" and lose the weight with wls then con't to struggle the old fashion way.   Maybe J Hud will hire cooks & a trainer for her sister.  I believe that she had more help then Weigh****chers cause that lil exercise she demonstrated on Dr Oz wasn't enuff.
