Grandma Emma died yesterday.  She was 97 and i'm so happy for her because she was so ready to die.  I'm sad for me because I will miss her so much, but i'm happy for her.  Now she doesn't have to cry when she doesn't recognize someone or when she has to be told over and over that this person or that person died and have her wi**** was she that had died.   She is resting now.
Rest in Peace Grandma,  I love you too much......

So people from Puerto Rico are coming to the funeral and damit if the last time I saw them wasn't four years ago when I was at my thinnest.  LOL.   I can't fit any dress clothes and the funny thing is i'm not bummed out about it.  I am who I am right now and that's all I can be at the moment until I change it which I am working on right now.

All I can say is that i'm really trying hard and i'm feeling pretty good.

Great attitude! Yes, you are trying and that is what counts. Keep it up Lee...you are moving in the right direction. You are such an inspiration.

Thanks MD,  I don't see how I can inspire anyone with my weight gain.  Just trying to keep my head above water.

You inspire because:

- You don't lie about it.
- You discuss what your challenges are both behavioral and metabolic.
- You work out hard and use your strengths to combat your difficulties.
We all learn from this.  Who taught me not to give in to a larger size?  Yep, you are on that BAF vet list.  Most folks identify more with imperfection than perfection.

Stories of where we go wrong; what thwarts our efforts; and the struggle to fix it all inspire.  Stories of easy perfection often have little to offer.

Lee, You've been following your plan and it's working-- that in and of itself makes you feel physically and emotionally better!!!!
That's why you have a different vibe about this whole thing.that is soooo good!!!!  How much have you lost so far?

Your Grandma Emma is at total rest now!sounds like she lived a long full life thru to 97.

...And who you are Lee....Is pretty damn impressive!  Don't forget that fact either!....They know it, and that may add to why they envy you so much!  Ever look at it that way?  To compensate, the enemy always try to launch attacks where they know we are weak.  This time you're facing them with a confident attitude of who you are, and putting the ball in their court to deal with you on your terms!

Own that control!......It's your life!

.......And I'm sorry for your loss.

This is family on Becca side and Farr less judgemental than my ridiculous family.  They don't sit around and make people fat their entire topic of conversation.

But you are right I see myself different  now even if I am fatter , I feel better about who I am and that helps too.
