As a teen it was wear the coveted bikini. At a minimum take the towek from around my waist to hide my thighs. I would no longer be the fat girl in my circle. I'd be a 9/10 like all my friends vs 11/12... 13/14... 15/16.

I'm still stuck in that fantasy doing situps till the belly roll is gone someday. This week I turn fifty not fifteen plus there is the skin issue so no bikini. When the jeans in my avi, my goal jeans slide on and off nice and loose I will be there. Today this size zero american eagal is about the size every one but me wore in high school.

Too late for the bikini. These are not the jordaache or sasoon wee wore back then. But my tape measuree cant lie.

I always fantasized about a bikini too...I know that it will never be an option for me either but I do like the notion of even being able to wear a more stylish swimsuit...not the one with the skirt and looks like my grandma made it.

Here are some styles that might be worth a try for tummy challenged folks who have reached goal . I would try them  but I am still have to deal with my flat backside:

Picture that suit with thebelly skin swinging to and fro as yo bend forward and side to side.  Thats how I looked when I tried on a similar mono-kini    Gotta either laugh or cry!

I'm from the deep south and everyone in my family seems to be stuck on talking about how much weight someone gained or lost. Since I rarely make it home, believe me when I say I spend my ENTIRE time at home with folks commenting on my weight and offering dieting tips and advice about how so and so lost "all that weight".

My fantasy is to go home for Mardi Gras, attend one of the many balls with my adorable hubby and  a slammin' ball gown with the low cut back and slit up the leg, showing off the many hours spent working out.  I'd have a matching mask on so no one knows its me, all the while letting everyone make their comments and then take my mask off to reveal it's me.  Just to see the mouths drop open would be a fantasy come true.

Seems like family can be the cruelest because they know exactly what to say to get under your skin.  I'm the largest of my cousins in a family filled with curvy Cajuns. I definitely want to be on the skinny side of conversation for once!!!
