NO WHERE TO RUN TO? THEN FAKE IT!

If you can't get out; or the neighborhood kids taunt you; or the neighbor's dog chases you; or... you can still get the benefit of a good run.  Fake it and run right at home, no equipment required.   
 
According to the activity calculator at caloriesperhour.com, a 150 lb female burns 544 calories during a one hour run at 5 mph.   A 150 lb female will also burn 544 calories jogging in place for a solid hour.  Grab some running music to pace yourself to ensure your run is not a stroll then fake that run!  
 
I've been indoor running for years and my resting heart rate couldn't get any better if I were pounding the pavement.  Allergy season is not a bother.  Who cares about bad weather.  Pound the carpet, tile, or hardwood.  Anyone can run. 
 
Check out running programs for all levels at podrunner.com.  In addition to progressive programs for 5k, 8k, 10k, and endurance building there is a wide variety of workout mixes at various bpm's. 
 
Get to faking it!
