I'm home!

I just wanted you all to know I'm home and doing well. I didn't have any complications but I had a fever for a few hours Friday. I got to come home yesterday and since I stay 4 hours away I had to stop every hour to walk around my car...it was like 40 degrees so I was happy to finally get in my own bed. I forgot to mention that my surgeon was 2 days past due when she did my surgery and as of yesterday she had not started labor. Thank you all for the prayers!! Jessica

Hey honey glad to hear that everything went well for you! Good luck and I pray you have a speedy recovery! P.S. Wowww the surgeon is pregnant and over due!! That is 2 funny, I hope she has that baby soon!

Thanks Donna!! I'm feeling great! I have to get my drain removed Monday so I will see if she has finally had that baby lol!!

I am glad to hear that you are doing well! I think I have to come home with my drain on too, is it a bother to you, and is it easy to take care of? Ok keep us updtaed, and come on baby! lol!

The drain is not that bad but, it sucks when you are trying to put on clothes. It's easy to take care of and I will say it freaks me out to see the hole in my stomach...Monday ain't coming fast enough lol!

I bet that you can not wait till monday!! I think that is what's going to get me---seeing that hole in my stomach ughhh! Oh well the price a sistah will pay for good health, more energy, and beauty!

Congrats to you and welcome to the loser's bench.  I'd have found it hard to hae the warm fuzzies around a surgeon who could deliver at any minute.   

Glad it all went well for you.  Applause to your doctor for being able to stand and operate for a couple of hours in her 40th week. 

Thank you! I'm praying she has had that baby because she looked so tired. She told me that she was so ready for her to come...
