HOLD MY FEET TO THE FIRE! ACCOUNTABILITY WEEKEND UPDATE
Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses
There are FIVE days left to plan for Thanksgiving and the long holiday weekend ahead. Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Have you given thought to your menu? Yours as in what of the Thanksgiving table you will enjoy.
Consider where you currently are with weight loss. Are you a pre op, new op, looser, maintainer, or a traditional dieter? How do you create your menu from the holiday table?
There is more to this than keeping weight loss going and avoiding weight gain. The greater challenge is not reverting to old habits. Gorgeing ourselves, grazing non stop, eating in secret, disproportionately choosing fattening foods... The world of head issues related to obesity is vast and varried.
How we handle the start of the holiday season may set the tone for the rest of the year. The ability to actually eat more than a small portion; being among those less apt to get sick from a so called normal portion; willingness to be uncomfortable for the sake of eating; imediate consequences being an unlikely aftermath... The more readily we accept ways to beat our programs, the greater the risk we are to ourselves.
...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Friday
Calories are lower than they should be but that's fine. By the close of the weekend my pay it forward calorie average will be back to my rmr. Its all good.
This is my third Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday season. I'm right on track paying it forward so that Thursday through Sunday will be a blast without regret. Planning worked in '09, '10, and will again in '11.

I am sucking so bad I'm beyond all sense. I haven't given up though and I never ever will. I just had fried cat fish. LOL. What the hell, I haven't had fried fish in years.
So I am under a lot of stress there is no denying that, but it is no excuse to give up, none at all. So I may be messing up right now bit I won't be for always. So I'm gonna get myself in shape and stop being stupid, I don't know what day that will be but I know it will be.
I haven't given up on me yet.

I allow myself fried fish (its usually catfish too) because its high in protein. Just so long as it does not kill my carbs for the day.
We have to find better ways than food to handle our stress and eventually we will. Some days its hour by hour to get through the day. Grab all the support you can find everywhere you can find it.
Folks on Oh don't talk about their difficulties with food except in euphemisms like "head hunger". I go elsewhere for support with eating disorders. The difference between you and me is I've perfected low cal binge eating. You know my eating is equally screwed.
Check out myfitnesspal.com. Another BAF'er told me the support for disordered eating is better there and she is right. This month they added groups including one for binge eaters and another for overeaters anonymous. There are also a few for wls folks.
Hit me on the b/l for my mfp user name if you decide to register. I know you will not give up. You know I'm standing with you.
