Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

For me its Thanksgiving, Christmas, then New Year.  For you it may be something else or nothing at all.  The season may have no significance or you may have reason to celebrate.  Either way, food is going to be everywhere for the next month and a half.  There are EIGHT days remaining to pay it forward for Thanksgiving.  

Tell the whole truth and be accountable.
  Have you given thought to the comming feeding frenzy?  How will you handle it?  What tips can you share to help the newbies and those who struggle? 

I won't call anyone out but this is a good time for you lurkers to lend support to those who could use a little guidance.  You know who you are.  It could be a recipe, a plan of eating, your personal do's and don'ts, etc.  Anything that can help someone else make it through the season of eating with their weight loss and maintenance goals in tact.  A seemingly obvious suggestion could spare someone from a stall or weight gain.  I hope you will give a little back.

Not just for runners.  Site has a variety of workout music and music timmed to progressive running programs for 5k, 8k, 10k, and speed.  In place indoors, treadmill, or at the track run to the beat and you'll complete the stated distance.  There is also a varietty of interval training music from about 130 bpm up to to 180 bpm; and, fixed bpm workout music as well.  Lengths of tracts vary but there is a speed/ length to suit most workout needs.

Exercise excluded, the plan is to save 450 calories a day over my base requirement.  I'm eating to my rmr per the calculators out there.   Enough to survive in a sedentary enviornment without throwing myself into starvation mode.   

Tuesday
Banked another 500 calories for the day towards my pay back/ pay forward plan.   I'm making up for some high cal days and preparing  for Thanksgiving weekend. 

There is no point in pretending that I will be dining on my usual protein and veg over the holiday weekend.  It will be a good time with good people and a healthy meal.  That meal will include wine, desert, and far more carbs and fat than usual. 

Over eating is not the issue.  I can easily have a 4000 calorie day consuming my usual maintenance volume in food and beverages.  By being prepared I am free to enjoy the holiday fare as I enjoy the good company.

 Eatin is still absolutely horrible and with all the holiday stuff coming up I don't think ican gain control right now, not to mention school stress with projects being due.

I am on the verge of getting depressed, but not enough to stop myself.  Still working out though.

Gotta start praying for a miracle to change my thinking.

Don't go there.  We cannot gain control and we cannot stop ourselves any more than an alcoholic in a bar can. 

That's the nature of this disease.  We are compulsive eaters and there will be good days and bad ones.  Worse, its hard to get motivated when doing the right thing does not mean we will really loose body fat. 

It's no wonder we're half crazy some days.  It's more than our way of thinking.  Eating disorders got a whole lot a folks here and we are among them.  Overeaters anonymous says one day at a time.  Some days we need to take it in hours or even minutes.  We will beat this.
