Saw Plastic Surgeon about Google Eyes today

Today makes 1 month and 2 days since my eye surgery.
So today I had my appointment with my plastic surgeon for my google eyes, well wouldn't you know it that yesterday my dam pupil started trying to level out. It is still high but nothing like it was. So I go in for my appt and she said that it is definately the swelling, I still have a lot of it and it mis-shaped my eye ball and made my pupils uneven. My pupils are most uneven in the morning and at night when my eyes are swollen from reading and doing stuff and not having them closed long enough.
I no longer have a seal on my eyes which means that if I dunk my head under water it will get into my eyes, but that too will heal as the muscles in my lower lids get strong with the exercises she has me doing. I have these gel drops I have to put in them that makes my eyes really blurry so that will make me not read so that is a good thing, also I have to put tape on my eyes to keep them shut at night because my eyeball swell up really big at night and don't close all the way which makes them dry which makes them swell up even more. So I have to put the gel in my eye tape them shut and then sleep with them taped shut, I have to do this until the Chemosis goes away because my eyeballs are to big for my lids right now.
So I feel better now hearing it from my doctor and getting something to help me heal and exercises to strengthen my eyes.
That's it, I won't be needing surgery unless after 6 months my pupils are uneven and I don't think they will be because they were looking pretty good today until they swelled up and went uneven again.

Now that's good news. Glad to hear surgery won't be needed (fingers crossed). Its going to be a pain in the @$$ but if all that results in healthy eyes it will be well worth it.

I am so happy I went to that appointment Marcia. She made me feel so much better. I told her everything that was bothering me and she just smiled and said ok anything else, and then addressed each of my concerns. She told me that she wanted to see me just for that reason to sit down and assure me that I will not remain google eyed but my eyes will heal after the Chemosis which can take quite a few months to go away but when it does I will have even, white, beautiful eyes.
She said that the doctor doesn't really know about plastic surgery and was probably worrying that I had a brain tumor or something.
Now I am just excited to heal and get real cute, yes your right having to tape up my eyes is going to be annoying but I have to do it cause when I wake up my eyeballs are huge and I look freaking strange.

Glad u got the explanations and reassurance needed to feel good about ur plastic surgery. What's a little tape at night to keep google eyes at bay. Take care and congrats.

Thanks Z, I felt really good about my eyes today, I was beginning to get depressed but now that I know things are going the way they should and I won't be a dreadful olgar I am happy again.
I can't wait for this dam Chemosis to go away so I can see what my eyes wil really ook like. But the surgery looks absolutely fantastic.
