Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

How are you making this week productive?  Do you have a clue?  By now you should have some idea of how you will work your food and exercise into your week.   Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  Do you have a clue or are you clueless?   If your answer is the latter, then its time to get a clue.

I'm just closing out the first week of round two, 7th to 27th.  My goal:  -  Rid myself of unproductive behaviors; and
-  Reinforce behaviors that support life long maintenance

Three weeks should in theory build a habit but this problem child needs to do it all again.  I'm pretty much back on task.  However, my drinking is still a bit too soon after my meals.  Meals are properly spaced and on schedule.  Protein high at 93g so far and carbs low at 33g.  Net carbs just 14g, yay me!  I'll have to slip in a little protein powder for the 7g of protein needed to stay on track.  Not a bad day.

Congrats on staying on track.
I'm still overdoing the carbs but staying in caloric range. Seems with my body a calorie is not just a calorie. Gotta lower the carbs soon. Otherwise doing well.
Take care.

I believe this is true of so many people.  Calories in vs calories out is a lot of manure for many fat people.  Carbs are the enemy.      Every time I let the 'experts' convince me to up the carbs it ends in tight clothes.   Pick something to pull out of your meal plan.  Many phasing the carbs out will help.

I plan to weed out some of these carbs to at least keep them at or below 100.  That seemed to work in the early stages.  Better planning is the key, I'm just being lazy.  I will step up my plan.

That's exacty what my endocrinologist says.  It will probably work for you.  She wants me to eat carbs but hold it to 100g daily.  When I get pumped up with steroids (which is all the time) or have to increase meds that negatively affect my metabolism I'm to lower the carbs.

I'm not supposed to cut calories, diet, or do atkins induction but this fat ain't mov'n.  It may work for most but its not working for me so its back to ultra low carb.

Holding carbs to 100g is relatively easy.  Your calories are usually less than mine so its a greater percent of your total diet.  You can have a modest amount of starchy carbs with two meals plus a piece of fruit or other snack easily.  Substitute an extra serving of a different veg for the missing side.  You can do this.

I don't take any meds but lately I haven't made time to get carbs under control.  Know I gotta do and that I will but just had not made myself buckle down.  Promised myself to work harder to  get carbs down even if I up my calories a little.  Sept 16th will be my starting date.  Thanks for your encouragement.
