Recommendation for a revision doctor in Atlanta

Can someone recommend a doctor in Atlanta who does RNY revisions? I've been approved by my insurance company, but Dr. Burrowes wants to change me $5,500 (that I don't have). And I have a secondary insurance that will pick up what the first doesn't pay......but he is insistant that he won't do the surgery unless I pay the $5,500....Surely, there is a doctor who will take the insurance without trying to gouge me....

So this surgeon expects to be paid twice by you and the insurance?  That is just criminal.  Its rough enough to need a revision then to get squeezed by your sugeon too.  You may be better off without him. 

I can't answer your question but perhaps the revision or failed surgery boards can help.  A recommendation from a happy patient is great.  If not possible your insurance company should have a list of providers you can look into.
