X-Post Home and recovering
Well I had my surgery on Tuesday 23rd that day was somewhat of a blur and I was in a lot of pain. The next day was the 24th my birthday. I spent my birthday in the hospital, but I did not mind b/c I had received the greatest gift already my surgery. The hospital even sent someone from the gift shop up to give me a stuffed puppy and I thought that was so nice. I went home on the 25th (my choice). They were going to let me go home on my birthday, but I did not feel comfortable. I got home yesterday and the hubby had cleaned the house and the bed had clean sheets with a bunch of pillows and he was ready and waiting on me hand and foot. He is so sweet. Well I wanted to let everyone know that I was home and doing great. I'm trying to get in my fluids and protein as well as my vites down that's kinda hard b/c all I want to do is sleep. I've been up and walking too. The gas is the worst, but I finally got some out last night and today so I am feeling much better. I had been able to burp, but not pass gas the good ole way! But now it seems to be flowing. Looking forward to being more mobile and feeling back to "normal". So I guess you guys need to move over on the losers bench b/c I am coming!

Welome to the loser bench, but make sure you get to walking around the house and do more each day, it is very important.
So glad to hear your husband is helping out so much, you realy need someone in the beginning.
Take care of yourself and stay away from those carbs as long as you can.

Yeah Mizzindependent!!...........You did it!!.................
Welcome to the Losers Bench>>>>>>>>>>Scootin over for ya!
Keep that protein coming! I know it's a little difficult at first, but get in as much as you can. Keep it moving too. A little more everyday. You'll feel yucky for a few days, but it does get better. And then....BAM....work your plan, and the weight will just keep dropping! Enjoy the journey, and take some pics to post and share!
Best wishes!............

Congrats, what a fantastic birthday gift. One of the great things about the loosers' bench is we keep shrinking so there is always room for a few more.
