A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.
Advanced option lets you choose from  3 different calculation methods.  Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance;  plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan.  Calculator  takes into account age and gender as well as activity level.  Links to other calculators are on the same page.

Arrgh!  I awoke this morning at 154.2 lbs, 14.4 lbs too fat.  Since I blew up last August I just can't get my weight back to normal regardless of what I do.  The doc tells me to eat to maintenance and the fat will come off but in nearly a year ranging between maintnance minus ten to maintenance all I do is bounce up and down.  Even with my recent feeding frenzies I never averaged above my range for the month.  I am so frustrated.

The good news is my appetite is back to normal.  I slept twelve hours last night and woke up feeling like I was run over by a truck and could sleep another twelve.  Yippeee, Its back to normal.       With that damned insomnia I felt just as run down except I could not sleep through it.

My calories are in check yesterday as is protein but carbs were through the roof.  No ff pringles today but I have produce that I need to finish before I can bring the carbs back to normal.  I am actually over my liquid limit so I need to get back down to my 80 oz before bloating becomes swelling.

I've been working my @$$ off for 30+ years. Exercise has never been my issue.  I've always enjoyed a good sweat.

These dats its an hour intense cardio and I mean insanity level intense.  I have the program and I use it.  Plus strength and abs.  All 3-7 days a week but average 6 days a week.  Believe me, exercise ain't it.

My surgeon calls me metabolically challenged.  My cardiologist says this is the best I can expect for my situation.  My endicrinologist is most optimistc having told me to keep doing what I'm doing and in another year or so I should get there.  My metabolism is fkcu'd and then compounded by meds that mess with my insulin levels causing fat storage.  Then there are other meds that cause weight gain in general.  I've been told that I can gain weight even with a calorie deficit and repeatedly proven it to be true.
