Being Here Makes Me So Dam Thankful For What I Have In My life.

Thank God I have air conditioning and can turn it on not worry about the bill.

Thank God I can turn on all the lights in my house and leave them on for days if I want and not have to sit up in a dark ass house because I can't afford to pay the dam bill.

Thank God that I don't have to limit my water use because of worry of a high bill.

Thank God I don't have to work two or three jobs and still not make enough money to pay my bills.

Thank God that I don't have to ask people f******oney if I take them somewhere, and if they offer it I can flat out refuse knowing that I don't need their money.

Thank God thar I am not a person dam near fifty years old who has never been out of the city I was born in.

Thank God that I have a body physically capable of carrying me and able to move like a person much younger than I actually am.

Thank God I live in a city in which I van be who I am and don't have to worry about being discriminated for it.

Thank God for all my blessings.

AMEN!  We need to start and end each day with GRATITUDE.   As we examine our own lives we will see that there are far less desireable circustances we could be living with.  

Yes lord Marcia, all the things I said thank you for is stuff I am encountering right now. My best friend is so broke and strapped for money despite working several jobs. I just don't understand so much bad money management skills. The only reason she has ho****er right now is because we came to visit and she wanted us to have ho****er.

I just don't get it.

This is a major pet peeve of mine.        Bad $$$ managenent is the DAMNED TRUTH!  There are so many folks out there masquerading as poor or pretending they are living large.  They have the same problem of refusing to handle their money with common sense. 

I have laid out budgets for people proving they had what they needed with money left over.  I had someone with $600 left after expenses tell me "I never had it like that" when I explained why I try to keep my bills paid up one month ahead.  Put something aside for emergency I said.  Answer:  "I gots to have some money in my pocket."  So every month its run all over town to pay enough on the bill in person to keep from loosing service.  Some rinning in a chevy, some running in a mercedes.  Its a damned shame. 

I've had feast and I've had famine.  Lord knows I've pissed away enough cash in my lifetime.  Thankfully I have never been so foolish as to neglect taking care of home before spending frivilously. 

Yes, I too know that God is good. I hope and pray to continue to show my appreciation for the undeserved kindness he shows me.

I WON'T COMPLAIN !!!!!!!!  NO I WON'T !!!!!!!!!  Last time I checked, it being over 100+ degrees.  I got in my air conditioned car, stepped into my air conditioned house, turned on my air conditioner full blast, shopped in an air conditioned mall, ate in an air conditioned restaurant.....I could go on...


So much to be thankful for..........so very much !!!!!
