Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

So I know its way early for Thursday; barely dinner  time in some places.  Here it is anyhow.

Review and re evaluate.  No matter where you are in this endevour for improved health, you need to priodically assess how its working for you.
Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  Do you regularly make a reality check?  Be it your plan or your physicians, do you ensure it is working for you and that you are getting all you can from it?   If what you are doing is not ideally suited to your needs how do you proceed?

This is all about you.  Weight loss and maintenance comes easier for some than for others.  Weight loss and maintenance may work well on one plan and poorly on another.  Its all about what your needs are.  Do you know what your body needs to loose and maintained?

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.
Advanced option lets you choose from  3 different calculation methods.  Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance;  plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan.  Calculator  takes into account age and gender as well as activity level.  Links to other calculators are on the same page.

I've been all over the place this month.   Not on program at all one day.  Totally anal about program another day.  Out at a dinner party and ending the day with plenty of protein and calories to spare.  Home eating nothing but carbs and drinking no water.

While my numbers are still on point for the month, feast or famine is not the way to get there.  That's the type of thinking that accompanies eating disorders and the obisity that comes with some disfunctional eating behaviors.

Its time to remake my plan and follow it.  The last couple weeks have been out of character.  However, it takes just a few weeks to develop a new habit.  This includes a bad habit.  I'm not about to let bad habits take over.  Its not enough to just meet my calorie and protein goals on average.  I need to do it right every day.

Do you regularly make a reality check?

I definitley got a reality check on July 8th.  I already knew that I had regained. I had not stepped on the scales since sometime in late December or early January.  I will make my best attempt to never ever let that happen again because if I had seen my number I would have gotten it together sooner and not allowed such a BIG regain. I am very happy to be back on track.

To any newbies who may be reading...it is not easy and it is a continuous journey that we will have to endure for the rest of our lives!

MsFaith I know you know better cause you taught me better.

Glad you are back on track.  Time to restart your weekly weight & see weigh in again.

The one thing that really made me want to start again was the pictures that I was taking I absolutely hated them because of my cheeks. I have about 8 pounds or so now to be back to the size I was in my avatar picture.  I had been thinking about restarting the weigh in again. I will let you know if I do.

Girlfriend, if I live by one rule only its never ever buy a bigger size.  If the clothes don't fit I do without.  Let's raise a protein drink to back on track.
