HOLD MY FEET TO THE FIRE! ACCOUNTABILITY FRIDAY
Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses
Get through today and you are rewarded with a weekend. Hopefully a long holiday weekend or maybe your weekend starts today. Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Have you incorporated the picnics, barbeques, and lazy grazing typical of relaxed holidays into your week?
If you are in your weight loss phase pre or post op just forget about it. Stick to your plan religiously. There is always another holiday in the pipeline. Enjoy the company and skip the non wls friendly foods.
If you are further out and maintaining remember you must pay it forward or pay it back. A few higher calorie foods, extra carbs and fats, etc do not have to derail you. If you did not cut back to save calories for this weekend then you must cut back to make up for any extras next week.
...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF)
The no op version. This version is still severe but far more liberal than the one many pre ops are given.

Daily calorie needs calculator
A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.
Advanced option lets you choose from 3 different calculation methods. Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance; plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan. Calculator takes into account age and gender as well as activity level. Links to other calculators are on the same page.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Thursday
June Daily Average
On plan for the month with one notable exception. Carbs are over the top as they should average 100g or less. While I have ample protein, it is lower than usual because I've been eating all of those carbs
Today's weigh in is a miserable 149 lbs. Still persistent 10 lbs above what should be my max.
Calories for the month are smack on maintenance plan. Maintenance for a 130 lb woman of my height ranges from 1650 calories to 1800 calories per day. I weighed in at a low of 147 lbs to a high of 157 lbs during the month.
By the numbers I should have been loosing not floating an additional ten pounds up for the month. If nothing else, I am eating and working out as I should be to maintain for life. Now to get this body to cooperate...
Soooo... Due to this body's succesful war against the laws of numbers as it pertains to fat storage, I have gained a few pounds this month instead of loosing a few. Of course this is no surprise as it has been this way since five weeks post op. Big sigh.
Fat(g) | Carbs(g) | Net C(g) | Prot(g) | KCals |
73.88 | 112.98 | 100.98 | 87.70 | 1447 |
