I'm not where I want to be but neither am I in bad shape. Carbs are over the top with the sf angel food and ff chips I'm indulging in over the weekend. Sure there are plenty of substitutes for snacks but there are times when its the real thing, accept no substitutions.
As long as I'm:
not binge eating/ out of control, and
on track to remain with in my target calorie range I won't fret.
I could still eat a horse with half a cow on the side each well salted followed by desert. I know thats the meds talking. I'm trying not to listen especially about salting that horse and cow.

At least your protein is up. The real thing n moderation, not many things better. When I eat my favorites there is no room for the protein w/o getting my calories out of range. The smart person would do the protein first as directed and then not be able to eat the carb heavy food but I cut back on protein to work in the bad. It doesn't happen everyday but it did today. Here's what I at Saturday.

I'm also guilty of skipping the protein first when I go for the carbs. Thankfully my protein requirement is just about 65-70g or I'd be a mess.
Sadly I know that 3 scoops of egg protein gives me 72g protein for 318 calories. After that I can have my fill of ff chips and sf angel food without breaking my calorie limit. Don't ask me why I know all that.
