The process has started....scared
So I have seen three doctors and actually have one more on Thursday but I have pretty much made a decision to go with Dr. Buford. Although I absolutely love Dr. Lamonaco, I thought it best to go with someone with experience with black skin...
So Dr. Buford's office called me earlier to tell me that they are starting the process and hve tentatively scheduled me for the beginning of August.
Unfortunately I have to have these surgeries separately so the second one will hopefully be in Nov/ Dec time frame. Wish me luck!

Good to hear from you. What are you having done? I'm scheduled for Tuesday (June 21st) for a tummy tuck breast lift and augmentation ,and I'm a bundle of nerves. Not so much because of the surgery, but its aftermath. To put it bluntly, I'm afraid of gaining weight from inactivity. We'll see what happens. I'm praying for the best.
I don't even know exactly what it is but you are far braver than I am. I don't have the guts to inquire on my insurance coverage. All I think about is all those stitches. Congratulations brave woman.
