How long does this last? Had surgery 5 months ago and my hair has just started shedding...and it is really coming out. I am a natural girl and this is really scaring me.

I was told it last about 6-8 months, but they said getting in all your protein and taking biotin helps to prevent hair loss.

I'm a natural girl too.  Sheddin also started about five months out.  Biotin and extra protein helped.  I lost ALOT of hair but it was all thinning and no breakage so my natural still looked fine.  Take heart, it grows back.

i had surgery almost 10 years ago and mine is still thinning. Keep your protein up and hopefully you will be just fine.

Hey there...Up your protein intake to about 80 to 100g per day...especially if you are working out.  Working out BURNS protein FAST so your body needs more.  If you do this, you will stop losing your hair...Good Luck-Carly

Thank you ....I didn't think about the working out burning the protein. so I will do just that up the protein
