I HAVE HAD IT - WOMEN UNITE! (warning, RANT within)
I have zero intention of dressing like an old lady even when I am one. So yes, I do choose to shop in places where the clothes work for women of multiple generations. However... I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE LOW RISE JEANS.
I picked up a pair of gap jeans. One size up from my usual. Well I nearly freaked when I pullled them on today.
- They slid on seemingly ok.
- They buttoned easily.
BUT THEY BARELY ALLOWED ME TO TUCK IN MY DAMNED PANNI!
Knowing I am ten pounds up at the moment I unzipped figuring these fat thighs of mine were the issue. I grabbed and tugged only to realize that the ofensive jeans were already at my crotch. Any higher and there would not even be space enough to sport a camel toe.
Yes ladies, low rise continues to get lower. The waist band sits on my pelvic bone, barely two inches above the bikini line and two inches below my belly button. How low are they going to get? Any lower and my pubes will be peeking out.
Any ideas on uniting jean wearing women of the world in a global campaign to raise waist bands by an inch or two? Really, that's all it would take to keep the world from knowing if I shave, wax, or live in a forest.
Now I have no memory, no focus, and no attention to detail so I won't do well in running this campaign. However, I am all for supporting a campaign to keep our decision to go smooth or furry private when in our jeans. I'll gladly throw my support behind anyone willing to lead the charge.

This is probably too much information but body hair showing is not a problem for me. Never had much, and bout 40 years ago had my first child, got shaved and it didn't come back. LOL
However I am unable to wear the low jeans without the fear of showing crack. No truck room is not acceptable. If you find out what to do, I'll put in my two cents.

I am soooo with you on this one MSW!! I have no desire to have my muffin top displayed over those crotch hugging jeans. I hate that when you fit into a great pair of jeans that really fits your arse, only to have all your fluffy belly hanging out because the waist has been dropped by a couple of inches!
