Remember when this board had a posts that were fun, current events, or frivolous stuff like clothes and accesories?

So sure you dressed well before.  As wl changes you, how has your style evolved?  What will you be wearing to reveal that new/ emerging figure this summer?

A close fitting sundresses; bare arms and legs; halters; stilletto sandles...  How will you be doing it for busines and pleasure?  What will you display around the pool and on th beach?

When I had an @$$ it was flare skirts and a well defined waistline.  Now I look best in straight/ pencil skirts but always a well deined waist.  Capris over shorts because of my flabby inner thighs.  Also I'll be going for short sleeves over sleevless this summer as the arm skin has taken on a life of its own.

I'm liking:

Gucci Slide Sandal  and

kelly & katie Mollie Sandal  and

Also Jodie 3/4-Sleeved Dress

and Colorblocked Black Dress  I like neutrals with color from accesories to extend wardrobe options.

Swimwear is hard since nothing goes from elbow to knee

Metallic Printed One-Piece Swimsuit  or  Ruffled Detail One-Piece Swimsuit or  Bandeau One-Piece Swimsuit With Hardware Detail  all possibilities but I must see what accentuates the positive so the negative is less noticable.

Keep this board alive people!

The fashion question is a good one. Before WLS I was a size 26, now I'm a 14. It is so hard to dress this new body, but I' getting better at it. Just bought 2 nice skirts ( colors I would have never worn before) and tank tops...yes tank tops. Arms aren't too bad but they are what they are. I find I must try on everything. My new love are shoes. I can now wear high heels without feeling like I'm carrying a 100lb. weight on my shoulders.

I also have to try it all on now.  Even if I know my size in a particular brand, the sillouettes I wore as an 18W don't work for a petite.  The cuts in clothing that looked awful previously now work best.  The styles I loved just don't work any more.

I should have covered some of this stuff up but never did. So nothing in that has changed except that now its old and wrinkled. I wore two piece swim suits, still do. I wore short skirts but too old and much more modest so they are knee length now. I wore/wear short sleeves, umpire styled dresses which flatter me. My thighs need plastic now that the fat is out of them but I wear hugging leggins which helps. If you watched Norbit you know how his wife dressed, well in the past I dressed the same and probably looked the same to others. I thought I was all that. Surprizingly, when looking back, I still like what I see just wi**** was a little smaller.
You are right about the swimwear but I just put a shear rap from the hips down and strut my stuff. I wear heels cause I have nice legs.
In the summer I think thin no matter what you see.

@    If you watched Norbit you know how his wife dressed, well in the past I dressed the same and probably looked the same to others.

I've always had a more classic style.  Looking good is a must.  The "Town & Country" look appeals to me.  Too bad I can't afford it.

I love all three items.  My shiney shirt is a silver/ grey bought only because it was on a clearance table.  Not my style yet it wins me big compliments all the time.

i have been buying a lot of high heels as now i can wear them! i like the long dresses out now and sequin tops. a lot of off the shoulder blouses and asymmetric tops, i love the ones i bought from piperlime, i have bat wings but they will be flapping this summer because i refuse to cover them up! skinny jeans are my staple, cargo pants (with heels) and a sexy top! i am hooked on tjmaxx you never know what you will find in there! I like TJMax too.  Last year my arms were a little flabby but I let my skin care routine slide over the winter.  Now this skin looks like hell so its bicept length sleeves for me.

I'm not into the long dresses because I look frumpy in them.  Have sissors will alter.

I absolutely love Maxi dresses and sun dresses (juniors or ladies sizes). It's kind of hard finding some that will fit and I have to try everything on all sizes arent created equal. I didnt loose enough boobs to fit most Junior sun dresses though. I rarely wore dresses pre wls but now, that's all I've been looking for in the past few months. Oh, I love sleeveless, strapless, one shoulder tops and dresses too. I dont care that I have sagging skin. If I look good in it, then I'm going to wear it.
