Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Its been over two weeks since I posted accountability and that last post is still on page one.  So sad my BAF family.    No one "owns" this thread.  Could another BAFer have posted? Are we just going to let our special place on OH die?

Oh well.. if anyone gives a damn:
Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  How have you managed your week?  Have you defined your goals?  Are you living up to them?

Simplify your life by not leaving food to chance.  Make a plan.  Work that plan.

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

Daily calorie needs calculator
A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.
Advanced option lets you choose from  3 different calculation methods.  Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance;  plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan.  Calculator  takes into account age and gender as well as activity level.  Links to other calculators are on the same page.

Now most of you know I'm a problem child if you can use the word child for anyone approaching the half century mark, lol.  Its been a difficult few weeks so even lurking was a rarity.

I've been way off my game but in the past few days I've pulled it together.  Still trying to get Extreme Fat Smash going succesfully.  I need it bad with 20 lbs to loose as of last week.  I know some of that is swelling but over weight is still over weight.

Finally I realized what my problem with EFS is.  Too many simple carbs.  I can't eat so much fruit or even the complex carbs in brown rice without triggering the carb monster.  I've tried it with adjustments like veg in place of fruit or two boiled eggs instead of an egg and say a pear.  No appetite/ hunger issues.  I'm going to restart (Is this number five?) as modified so I do not go off the deep end again.

Back on my normal work out schedule.  Watching the calories although the carbs are higher than normal.  Getting the protein in but too little water.

Time to pull it all together.  I refuse to be that person posting about how to loose re gain two plus year out.  The answer is stick to plan, get back to the basics.  EFS or some other eating regimine, we all already know how to do this.  WLS was our miracle.  Its up to each of us to apreciate that miracle.

You know this thread is yours.  None of us are willing to wear the shoes.  I kinda wondered where you were.  Anyway finally got the EFS book.  The diet plan is workable for me.  However, it will be a while before I can work up to being able to comit to exercising that much.  I have not put it out of mind just on the shelf for later.  Been doing ok with meals as far as staying within my caloric limits.  Surviving the weekend so far so good.
Take care and thanks for posting,
Z

Damn straight I guess I do own this thread.  Thought no one wanted to step on any toes but nobody else wants this damned thing.  I could not see for sh**t so the pc was a hit or miss proposition when I could handle it.  Since it caught me by surprise I never announced my hiatus.

Thankfully I'm good with the exercise majority of the time.  EFS is workout intense but it fits into my routine since I split my sessions up through out the day.  Splitting the time may make it easier plus its reccomended in the book too.

Find you something fun and get moving girl.  Lets face it, if we don't enjoy it we won't do it.

Amen.  You and Lee exercise and control carbs well.  I can drink my liquids, take my vitamins and basically.  Planned foods work well for me too.  Going back to exercise DVD's to get me started again.  I have been doing little to no exercise.  Thanks for the push.

Did you say vitamins?   I need a push in that department.  A big push.  Its the worse area to screw up because consequences can be permanant.

But as you know I'm always happy to push the workout.    My mom drilled into me from little that you must be able to touch your toes and get up and down from the floor with ease for life
