EXTREME FAT SMASH DIET, I may lose a battle here and there but I will win this war.

I needed to make some adjustments today because I lost it on the snacks overnight.  Frozen fruit bars/ fudgsicles were my downfall.  Having planned my menu in advance, I made some adjustments to ensure my calories were not also blown. 

One of my EFS learnings is that I cannot eat carbs without protein especially at night.  It sparks a feeding frenzy.  Each day the menu is structured this way I will need to save a dense protein snack for sometime after. 

I just don't handle carbs well.  I'm hungry again within an hour.  However, the proof will be in my results.  That's when I know it will all be worth it. 

I was afraid that protein would be deicient on EFS but happily I was wrong.  Only day 1 of cycle 1 was really low in protein.  It could have been made up with extra lean dense protein as a snack but I did not think of it while planning. 

Making it through tonight will be hard because my pouch is talking to me today.  All day.  Must stay strong.  Must stick to menu and stay on plan.

How is your night going ?   The students brought in snacks for our last night class and I had 4 triskets, a cookie, and a mini brownie, so that served as my snack today even though it was more than I should have had but i'm good with it.

I am sick today, woke up with a sore throat, usually when I don't feel good I eat what ever the hell I want but I held it together and stayed on my program all day.

ETA
I've fallen but I've gotten up.  Now how do I stay up?  This week has been tough and it was a crash and burn kind of day.  I am pulling myself together.  There is no other choice.

And as you know this is what is important.  Getting back up every time we fall down!! I know you are good for it to!  We have known each other over a year now and we both have fallen many times but we know we are not every giving up.  We know success is never giving up and I am proud of you for not giving up!
