Going back to the Basics indeed
Welp! My name is Simone and I had my surgery about 2 years ago...overall I dropped about 130 pounds (counting my heaviest I have ever been!). None-the-less, I am so very thankful for such a tool...but I see that I need to get back on track for this is my LIFE forever, therefor, I have to maintain!....one of my biggest challenges is to simply keep a consistent exercise schedule (working on it now!)...so I just wanted to say HI to everyone on here again...and I will be talking with you all soon :-)
Hi Simone.........and welcome back. I'm almost 2 years out myself, and dropped about the same amount of weight. I love to workout, but find it hard to fit it into my schedule at time also. I'm still maintaining, but I would love to be able to just get my workouts in when I want to. Life just throws up road blocks at times that prevent that from happening. Keep at it though. We've got to get it in.
Best wishes!

Personally, I never really cared about taking protein everyday but now it's kinda starting to weigh on me (no pun intended.) I gotta get back to basics too.

Stay encouraged!! Consistent exercise is my challenge too. There is no magic, we just have to do it.

I'm also just past the two year mark on the diet that never ends. Lifestyle change my @$$. We've got to stay with the program for both diet and exercise. You are so right that this is for life.
Well, that's the decision we made. Unless we want to find ourselves crying as we post about regaining it all. Stay strong.
