Having a great EFS day but after having Greek yogurt for breakfast and meal #2 I want some dam meat, meal #3 is salad and dinner is a dam veggie burger and rice.  I am so excited about dinner I could jump.

Some days are harder than others especially when you only get yogurt or a smoothie but I don't care I eat that yogurt and pretend it is the best thing I ever ate.

I was looking at some pictures of myself and damit, I still look really fat.  I hate this ****   I have to keep going so I will keep eating like this until I get my thin on.   Oh Well....

Can't we swap the veggie brger for an extra lean turkey burger?  I could swear I saw that on the substitute list after stocking up on those darn veg burgers.

I'll be doing the protein shake instead of the yogurt smoothie.  I like to put it in the icecream freezer.  Makes a shake so much more interesting.  Tried the goat's milk yogurt and farted all damn day.  Also tried the do delicious coconut milk yogurt.  really good but $2  dollars a 6oz container at whole damned foods.  WTF!

I will be getting my thin on too asap.  I just need a few days so I can exercise right again.  This swelling is comming down in places.  I'm going to eat that EFS like its my damned Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner all rolled into one damnit!

morning star buffalo chicken wings are really good & their meat crumbles are pretty good, as I had that in beans & rice today & have used it in spaghetti & chili before as well.

Thanks guys

I am trying to stay to the tee on this EFS because it is working well. i'm afraid to start subbing out foods right now.  I had carne asada yesterday, I just miss eating meat every day.

Ok, but I think I need to clarify, morning star products are veggie protien, same as your veggie burger, so you wouldn't be cheating.  They carry evreything that would simulate all meat products out there.  The 2 I mentioned are the only one's i've tried.  Tried a veggie burger a while back, it wasn't this brand, was not impressed, so very reluctant to try again, because fake meat is expensive.

Thanks Gigilani

I just read this to Becca and she went to the freezer and showed me we have a bag of those crumbles,  they are the morning star ones also.   I am going to have them on my next veggie burger day and make it into some kind of hash or something.

Becca puts them in her eggs and she said they are really good.

Thanks G,  I never would have looked had you not posted a reply.

You're welcome!!

BTW, it looks like what I'm doing is similar to this.  So, I'm doing the greek yogurt as well.  I bought a bunch of the cups w/topping & noticed after the fact of course, that they averaged around 21 grams of sugar.

I'm trying to cut back on my sugar (it takes a lot higher sugar count to make me dump).  So  I  bought the plain greek yogurt & then got sugar free preserves (strawberry & peach)  Then I mix up a container of each with splenda & the preserves until I get the flavor that I like.  It tastes as good as the full sugared without 0 sugar.

I'm also going to try to make some cucumber sauce as well, to eat as a different twist with the yogurt.

I eat my Greek yogurt with splenda also and a pear.  It is really good and the great thing is it does not get me sick like milk or regular yogurt.

What is cucumber sauce and how do you make it?

It's the sauce they put on gyros & it's made w/greek yogurt.  Also called Tzatki sauce/dip.

Their are several variations, but here's a simple recipe:

GREEK YOGURT-CUCUMBER SAUCE

1 med. cucumber, peeled, seeded and finely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
8 oz. plain (non-fat) yogurt
1 clove crushed garlic
1 tbsp. chopped chives or scallion

Finely chop cucumber into strainer, sprinkle with salt and let stand 15 minutes. Press out liquid with back of spoon and drain. Place in bowl with rest of ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Excellent on lamb patties, also very good with stuffed grape leaves. Makes 1 cup.

Don't know if MsG is talking about the Thai cucumber sauce or something different.  MartitaLinda taught me this one:  Sloced cucumbers with or without skin.  Splenda, I use sweet ez liquid ground cinnamon.  To die for almost like a wet conamon cookie and arounf 15 cal per whole cucumber with liquid slpenda.  I can see this going well with yogurt.
