HOLD MY FEET TO THE FIRE! ACCOUNTABILITY: WEEKEND UPDATE
Tomorrow I start EXTREME FAT SMASH! I still have not worked out all the allergy issues but I will substitute foods with similar calorie, macro nutrient, and glycemic index numbers. I've started planning my week in fatsecret thanks to MsLee's menu for us type 'y' folks. Gonna finish my plan, shop, try not to eat that 450 cals left over from this week, and its on to extreme fat smash.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.

I started off thinking dam i'm not getting any protein and had to stop it cause even when I am getting protein my ass is staying fat.
So I just trusted the process and went with it, and that is what i'm continuing to do and i'm still losing.
Too late, already done. Damn, day 1 is just 18g protein and 510 calories. My salad dressing is zero cal and my milk is 40 cal. If I take the cals from low fat milk and the typical ff or low fat salad dressing, 1oz of egg white protein is about equal at 106 cals bringing the totals to 43g protein and 647 cal.
From what I've read, type y cycles from 800-1000 calories. Using the exact foods listed I came in around 750 cals before making substitutions. I've got to improvise no matter what. Since my versions are lower calorie in general I figure I'll just add a scoop of egg protein to my daily glass of unsweetened almond milk for a total 146 cal and no additional glycemic impact.
I can't get any suitable yogurt substitute but diabetic meal bars come closest nutritionally including the glycemic index. I'll have one in place of the yogurt on those days.
I just spent a fortune on 100 cal snacks, hot cereal, brown rice, etc. Since I don't normally eat most of this stuff I had to stock up on everything. I'm ready for tomorrow. I'll have each day portioned and ready the night before. Do you think these substitutes are reasonable?

Yes it's expensive because you have to eat a ton of veggies and veggies, but being fat is expensive also. LOL.
I don't eat any of those 100 cal snacks, I make my snacks cheese sticks or edamame so that I get the extra protein.
But today I am dying for some See's. It's about that time of the month and I am craving it like a mother but I think i'll go have some edamame and sit my ass down somewhere.
My 100 cal snacks are not all junk food. I've got fruit, glucerna, and extends blood sugar control bars too. With the mix I can have one healthy and one treat each day.
They are included in my totals. So far week 1 never exceeds 900 cals. I have got to loose on an average of 800 cals for the week. I will weigh tomorrow morning and not again until the end of this rotation. I do not want to get discouraged if the scale does not move. I'll try on a pair of shorts at the start of each week to gauge my progress.
I'm psyched but I'm aprehensive too. This will be hard like day one of my pre op diet. I thought I'd loose my mind, lol.

I want all of my snacks to be a half of a snickers bar but I just figured that may not be a good idea. I even tried to justify having a few m&m's as a snack but I know that would just be playing with fire.
I forgot the low sodium V8 juice other than that I'm ready for the week. Playing with fire for me is keeping snacks in the house. Please God don't let me cheat.
