Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

It's Tuesday where I am.  What kind of start is your week off to?
Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  Are you prepared to live the wls life this week?  Are you committed to following the rules, all of the rules?  Regardless of where you are in the process?  Even if you are a no op, are you committed to following your plan to the letter?

No doubt sticking to plan is hard.  Keep your focus on your desired end result.  Frame your self talk in the positive.  Reject negative people and perspectives and let the positive energy flow through you.

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

The no op version.  This version is still severe but far more liberal than the one many pre ops are given.

Daily calorie needs calculator
A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.
Advanced option lets you choose from  3 different calculation methods.  Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance;  plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan.  Calculator  takes into account age and gender as well as activity level.  Links to other calculators are on the same page.

I am still doing well, but I want more.  I want to be thin now.   I am still struggling with my water and I don't really understand why.  I am trying so hard to do this, so so har to make it down a pant size before I go to my summer trip.

I feel really hopeful again, and i'm really excited about my body changes.   I hate when I go through emotional crap, like i'll be walking and see my shadow and start crying.   What the hell is wrong with me.  I hate being an emotional wreck.  Hate it.

I feel you Lee on wanting to be a size smaller by my summer vacation.   Going to the essence in July in New Orleans and I want to be a size 14.  Which is a size and a half smaller.

I got to get to the grind.  Today, at work they brought in goodies.  I hope I can restrain myself from all and get my butt in the gym.

On the other side, yesterday at the gym, had a nice encounter.   This man, I haven't seen for 6 months gave me really nice compliments about my weight loss.   Told me, not to lose it in the wrong places.   I said thank you  and just kept pushing.  Kind of dating my baby father again.   Not sure why I keep going backwards, that must be my emotional issue, I need to deal with.

My 16's are nice and loose on me but the 14 fit just right which feels to foreign and way to tight for me,  and I look like a stuffed pig in my 12's but they are a lot less stuffed than they were a month ago.

It would take a force of nature, a mirace, a several voodoo curses to get me into those 12's by July 15, but hey didn't a man walk on water once.LOL

If you can zip into a 12 even a tight 12 right now you should be cool in three months.

Just don't let those emotional issues get you to eating instead of working your program.  Keep working them off in the gym.

i actually feel good this week, my arm is hurting less, ( i rode a bike and fell and hurt my arm a couple of weeks ago) i will start back with the gym next week, i am losing weight again after a long stall and i actually felt scared! i thought i would stay a 16 but that seems not to be the case, i realized i have not seen many of my friends since the surgery, only my family who is enough to deal with as they are not used to the new me, i have lost and gained weight before but this journey is very different. a close friend told me i was hiding from her! WLS is a physical as well as psychological change which i was not exactly prepared for, i am working on embracing the many changes and challanges coming my way, have to learn to enjoy life now matter what, anyhoo, hope you guys are out there enjoying life and embracing the new you, thats my firewalk for the week!

Glad the stall is broken and wl moving again.  Get to working out in ways that won't irritate your injury.

This wls thing is also a big mind game.  It forces us to face our demons or deal with the consequenses of being blind to them.  Of course, sometimes we add new demons to replace the food demon.  Stay self aware so you know the positive from the negative.  They can play tricks on you.
