In spite of MsLee's prayes on my behalf I went to bed with a bag of pretzels and only one of us made it through the night.

I'm ok now.  Still feeling the bug, and the appetite but I'm taking it minute by minute and keping food off my mind.  Overnight is screwed but I will be ok for the rest of today.

Its time to start posting my totals again.  Tracking has been sketchy lately as in a running list rather than in the system.  Now that things are calmer in my universe Its time to examine the detail.  That will set me straight.

My quest now is to adjust my diet to the exact nature of my "metabolic challenges".  As it turns out, low carb is the only option for me period and that bag of pretzels did not help.  I know what to do and I'm going to do it.

Clean slate here and now.  I'm throwing the overnight feeding frenze into yesterday's totals and working today right.

That's right!
I hear you loud and clear. Keep that attitude and you will go far. Today is my day one of being back on track with exercise. I have been slacking off. I want to get back to the intense workouts I use to have. Now I am doing light workouts just to hold on. I know my problem is I am tired and ready to give up. Giving up is not an option for me because I have to remind myself I am doing this for my well-being. I get side tracked sometimes. Today I made a list of things to do and I am going to accomplish as much as possible during the week. Plus my 45 mins of exercise. I want to try to do Tae bo, but I don't think I am ready for that just yet. I will stick with my light weights and walking on the TM.

Light is better than none but we know we need to kick it up if we are to get the most benefit.  I've been a slacker too.  While tired is the story of my life, exercise is known to increase overall energy levels.  Just another reason to ramp it on up.

Like you said, its for our own well being.  We got this.

I am determined to stick with the caloric intake that fitday says will get me to goal by November.  Don't mind eating out its trying to track those calories.  I don't have a clue how some things are cooked or what's in them.  Basically I need to follow the rule we gave our kids.  If you don't know you can't go.  So with that being said.  If I can figure out how to count it.  I am not going to eat it.  Wish me success.  I too need to get back to exercise.
Take care all and do what you gotta do.

Restaurants are a tough on except for the national chains that have the menu info online.  Even then you have to do some calculating like when you get a total for the meal and have to back out the sides, sauces, etc.

You've got the right idea for when in doubt.  Too often I've guessed and later discovered that what I really wanted was better for me than what I wound up having.

Now lets get our @$$ in gear this week.  No more slacking on the work outs.

Girl .... I was limited only to Zumba Fitness ... I could not do Zumba Toning because of my wrist and I tried to swim but that was out too ... I tried not using my injured limb but no go ... I did not want to hurt myself further.... Doing Bikram tonight .... that heat is going to feel soooooooo good on my wrist.

The heat should do it some good warming that joint to the bone.  Al's going to have to tie your arm down at an angle where you can't keep hurting it.

I like the yoga but bikram is literally too hot for me to handle.  Enjoy.
