Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses
There have been a few Newbies around as well as returning Tweens struggling to goal. Come on out and say hi.
It is never too soon or too late to be accountable. This is true even if you have not started the pre-approval diet yet. This is true even if you never plan to have wls. This is true if you are getting back on track.
Feel free to come on out and post. If you post or just lurk, you are always accoutable to yourself. However, a support system helps.
I will now return to the regularly scheduled thread:
Over the work week hump and smack mid calendar week, how do you feel about yourself. Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Would sense of accomplishment be accurate or some other description?
When it comes to thinking like a thin person it will be a conscious effort for a time. However, if we keep at it we can make it second nature. Pick one habit to change at a time. Loose the all or nothing mentality. Make your focus progress not perfection.

A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.

Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance; plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan. LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Yesterday was respectable. I've been keeping a running list but I have to catch up with my tracking. Since I ate nothing "foreign" I know my numbers are good.
Now that I've had a full medical explanation of my weight gain issues I am trying to stop stressing and I will keep doing the right thing. If it will take me three years to reach and maintain what others can in under one so be it. Sure its dissapointing, but I will get there and that is what matters the most. My focus is on the long term end result.

Martita you rock, My scale has never thought about looking at 120, **** if it ever saw 120 I think it would push my fat ass off of it and leave home.
I just need to get back down and when and if I ever do I will not just have the workout dedication but the food dedication as well, that is what kills me.

Thank you Lee .... just fling away the refined stuff ... you don't need it ... don't fry broil ... and if you walk pump it up and pump it down ... try not to keep the same pace ... for example start out slow ... speed up ... if you can jog a bit run a bit ... slow back down ... speed it up back and forth don't let the body settle ... when I run in the morning I start up with warm ups .. I jog a bit to meet up with the others then we run and half way home I sprint the rest of the way ...
I make cleaning my house an exercise experience ... girl please I don't even want to do it in the first place so you know I am going to beat it clean LOL ... then I go up the stairs and down and back up ... half the time I am exercising and the other half is I forgot what I went down for .. ran back up to remember... ran back down to realize I forgot what I ran up to remember and here I go one brain fart after another LOL...
Blast the music ... girl you can exercise to music from gospel to salsa it doesn't matter ... work that body ... if you ate more calories ... exercise a bit more to burn off the excess ... input and output... there you go....

I make cleaning my house an exercise experience ... girl please I don't even want to do it in the first place so you know I am going to beat it clean LOL ... then I go up the stairs and down and back up ... half the time I am exercising and the other half is I forgot what I went down for .. ran back up to remember... ran back down to realize I forgot what I ran up to remember and here I go one brain fart after another LOL...

Exercise is not my problem at all. I workout 2 - 2/12 hours every single day, gotta maintain the muscle tone. My problem is i'm a greedy little fat piglet. I eat like crap and I have something wrong with me that prevents me from losing weight. It's a long, long, long, long, story that has been drawn out on BAF to many time for me to puke out again.
Anyway, I'm trying something new at the moment to get this fat off of my ass. Been doing it for 9 days and so far it seems to be working pretty good. So we shall see, I have 106 days before my reunion and i'm busting my ass to get down 2 more pant sizes.
Thanks for the advice. I just think i'm one of those destined to be fat again. But I try to fight it as much I can.

Sorry, did not know that.... I am glad what you are trying is working ... you are going to be just fine ... as long as we fight it ... I think we are all destined to be fat again ... unless we keep on fighting ... Cheers to another fighting sista!!!!

MsLee it is WHEN not if you get back to your former weight. Our metabolisms are discouraging but we can do this.
Did you see my post yesterday? My endo says it will be a slow process to get where I was and where I want to be but I can do it if I eat and exercise like I'm already there. That includes keeping carbs sown to 100g max daily.
I know the source of your problem has not been identified but maybe eating to goal can work for you too.
Don't sell yourself short. You can do this.
