I am a girl that had weight loss surgery 5 years ago next month and I am a complete failure at maintenance.
I have gained back 60 pounds at one time or another, I struggle every single day to stay at a decent weight.
About 3 years ago I lost my dam mind and started eating candy and junk food every single day and that is how I gained so much weight back.
I also represent those who workout like crazy and can't lose a pound. The hard to lose group that can eat like a bird workout like a trainer and not lose a freaking pound. Yep that's me.
That's who I am, and the reason you should care is because YOU don't want to be a big **** Up like myself.
Weight Gain is a grey hair biotch.

Tell it girl. People need to know it could be any of us.
Virtually everyone will loose some weight regardless of their procedure. You may not loose as much as you want, or as fast as you expected, or maintain as you'd hoped. Even if you consistently do it all right, sans the normal human variations, it might not all go your way.
Think hard about what MsLee said. How will you avoid that trap of lapsing into old habits? Don't make your body have to do this all over again minus the benefits of being a wls newbie, and likely with a slower metabolism.
Learn how your weight responds to different types of food and activity and give into where your body guides you. Find your way to long term success by never letting youself backslide.
