Its off my body but still in my mind...ugh!!!
I have lost and maintain for 4 years. However, the image i see in the mirror doesn't reflect the scale. I live in IL and I've been denied once for PS from BCBS of IL. I am determined to do whatever I have to do to get this god awful skin removed...It is a constant reminder of where I came from...I so much want to look and feel so called "normal' for my weight and age. I dont wanna look 16 but I do want to look like a almost 50 y/o women who takes care of herself and I do take very good care of myself. However, I dont look like it naked...Honestly it can get depressing some times.
I would greatly appreciate input on what others have done to get your insurance company to pay for some or all of your PS and if you live in IL if you have a recommendation of an excellent PS. ALL input is welcome
Thanks so much in advance

No advice but (((((hugs))))).
No plastics but I have succesfully battled my insurance through the state's department of insurance. The skin would have to be considered a diseased state of health. You will need a lot of proof for medical necesity; the procedure being proven to succesfully cure your medical issue; and the treatment having acceptance by the medical community.
