Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

In the creepy voice of the little girl from poltergeist as she viewed the snowy static on the tv:  She's baaa-aaak!
(Note to those too young to remember tv before cable:  Go ask some 'grown folk' what 'snow'  is.   )

Yes she is and you already know what I am demanding of you.

Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  Are you determined to be a fat @$$ or a not so fat @$$?  This question is for you to answer for your benefit alone.  What do you want for yourself?

We can all use a nudge every now and then.  Truth is, you don't need me rambling on to know how not to be a fat @$$.  (But you like me am I right?  )  A healthy @$$ is our goal and for most of us shrinking that @$$ is step one.  For all of us maintaining a significant weight loss for the rest of our lives will make or break us.

Some will get there fast, others painfully slow.  Some will make less effort and have better results while others will suffer every ounce lost.  Depending on our starting points, our missions may naturally be one of very many years.  Depending on how well we adjust and on our metabolisms, expected time frames may become many years.  Its not about quickly becoming that skinny    ***** (or male equivelent).  In the end its about being healthy by you and for you.  Only your mission matters whatever that may take.

Stay strong.  Stay focused.  Be healthy.

I'm back.  I think... scratch that, I know.  Been off my game in ways I can and cannot control.  Its time to correct what I can control as I continue to deal with what I cannnot.

Holding at 148.2 lbs today which does not make me happy at all but 150 would make me suicidal so I will not complain.   I thought for sure going sixty days without steroids would give me that push to get below 140 and I still hit 142 lbs and bounced right back up.  If the pattern holds, I should break through this time and stay there.

Since five weeks post op I will loose a little then regain as much as 14 lbs.  This is followed by bouncing in a 10 lb range.  Then finally break the 'barrier weight' for good.  I'm estimating (and praying) that this is the 'for good' round on my goal weight.

I am getting to 140 lbs or less and staying there forever.  Still 8.4 lbs remaining to reach my lowest weight.  I am damned tired of wearing tight clothes.
