I'm eating in circles. I am so sick on meat and veggies, but i'm finding delicious ways to make them and will continue to eat them until my body is the size I want it to be.
I had frozen yogurt yesterday, it was the kind with no sugar and it was good, but I am going to stay the hell away from it. Because I can see that I will start justifying it by saying oh it's sugar free and eating it like a crazy person.
I also eat cheese, oatmeal, fruit, sunflower seeds (no salt) oh and sugar free dove candies. I think if it weren't for those foods I would lose my mind about now.
so I have 13 days before I try on my shorts and I am hoping for a miracle.

Salty Pickle a.k.a. Lee
Hang in there MsLee. The key to the veggies is variety in cooked and raw veg.
I love Indian vegetarian food because they have countless uses for veg. I borrow flavors I've had in restaurants without all of the added oils. I also use prepared aisian sauces, marinades, and make my own seasoned oils (40 cal/ tsp) with herbs and spices I like and vinegars too.
Experiment with veg bakes too. Caserole style sides with things like eggplant or portabella mushrooms, red onion, fresh herbs etc. Add shredded cheeses used sparingly as a flavoring or garnish. This makes a hearty flavorful side dish. Freeze portions so you can have it when you have a taste for it rather than get sick of it trying to finish the whole caserole. I throw together what's available, but I'll write down what I do and create some recipes to share.
