Im trying to find a great body scrub/sea salt scrub for black skin.I saw in sephora that CD has body exfoliants but my only promblem is that her hair products suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. So Im a little hesitant to try any other lines she may have. So if any of you guys tried her body exfoliants..Please let me know the Real! If you can recommend a good body exfoliant that actually shows great results.Let a sista know!

Thanks in advance!

Mix some oil and salt into a paste,  it scrubs off the dead skin while it moisturizes.

The CD brown sugar scrub is pretty nice, but I often just make my own scrub w/ sugar, almond oil and a little essential oil for scent.

skin is skin, IMO 'black skin" products are nothing but over prices crap you can make at home.  The stuff the other two ladies mentioned works and you can also use baking soda mixed with your soap on a washcloth.

If you're going to make a homemade scrub use Sea Salt or Sugar.

DO NOT
use regular table salt.
The crystal edges are sharp and it will "scratch up" your skin.  I found this out the hard way.

Someone already mentioned almond oil.  Sesame oil is good for the skin too.

I'm very frugal, so I wouldn't give my hard earned $ to a company that has proven to be a waste of funds in the past.

I agree with the previous posters, mix it yourself with your own ingredients!  Its fun to experiment and customize your formulations.  There are many recipes for body scrubs and exfoliants out there on the web.

You can formulate several different fragrances & formulations for the price of one store bought option.
