A leak ... 2+ months out ... damn.

Well ... here I am again posting this from my very nice private hospital room in MD.

After surviving (thanks God) blood clots in both lungs. After being severly anemic. After losing 100lbs. More than 9 weeks out ---> they discover that one of my suture lines is completely blown and I have a leak. I've got a golf-ball-sized localized infectious pouch outside of my tummy.

TPN line for at least 8 weeks ... anti-coagulation regimen completely blown ...

But you know what ... God is still in control and I will overcome this.

Nearly every bad thing that can happen with VSG has happened to me:

1. Terrible Stomach Acid
2. Debilitating Constipation
3. Deadly Blood Clots
4. Nausea
5. Vomiting
6. Leak

At this point I leave it up to God as to what to do next or where to go from here. I don't even question whether or not my decision to have surgery was wise. It is what it is and I am going to take the ride.

I remember you, cuz!  Sorry to hear of what you're going thru.  I've had some botched surgery issues myself - I would say something all supportive like 'keep ya head up'

But

I know how frustrating it feels to be in the midst of a thing that goes well for just about every dayum body else and all of a sudden you are the 'House' case.

Hope they fix it quick, right, and for good.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Staying positive when things are rough is challenging but you will stay strong.  You are already strong and you can hold your ground.  Prayers and blessings that thi is your last hurdle to good health.
