Nexium

Hello BAF fam, I'm curious if anyone has noticed appetite increase with Nexium? I've taken Nexium since my VSG back in '09.

Long story- short I went out of town this week and left my Nexium at home by mistake. After a horrible night of reflux I bought Zantag 150 OTC (spelling?)   All wek  I've not had much of  appitate, but now that I'm home and back on the Nexium, I'm hungry and snacking all day!  Has anyone heard about this and if so what did you do about it? Thanks

Never took Nexium EB,  but the way I love to snack you would think I do.

i take nexium, it may be because now that the reflux has calmed down, your tummy is not irritated  and your tummy is feeling better so now your are hungry! my stomach bounces back and forth, sometimes i can eat alot and sometimes my tummy tightens up and i cant eat much of anything,  i cannot go without nexium more than 3 days maybe 4 if i dont eat acidic foods, the longest i have gone without nexim is 2 weeks and that was because i had new insurance and had to wait for it to kick in!!! i never travel without it!! that is one med i have not been able to give up since my surgery! i had reflux problems before surgery, and sometimes had to take nexium 2 times a day, now i only take it once a day and i try to never miss a day!!!
