A more advanced calculator that's still easy to use.
Advanced option lets you choose from  3 different calculation methods.  Enter data once for calorie needs at maintenance;  plus calorie needs for 2 different levels of weight loss; and, results include a week long calorie cycling plan.  Calculator  takes into account age and gender as well as activity level.  Links to other calculators are on the same page.

I am just not feeling it today.  Doesn't matter, wls is a self imposed life sentence.  Right now I feel like a prisoner trapped in an almost but not quite there hell.

I've analyzed my numbers since the summer.   Every time I hit a certain weight, I flip into a weight gaining spree.   The figures confirm I'm on track yet the results go in reverse.

Big sigh.  Clueless as to why but I will figure this out.  Eventually.

wish I had some clues but I'm getting my tips from you MSW.  As you are the analyzer I have confidence that whatever is flipping your switch in the wrong direction you will find and overcome it.  Hang in there.  Food and exercise seem to be working for me right now.  I am a slow loser so though I want things to go fast, tryin to be satisfied with whatever I get.

Thanks luv, I need that pull girl.

Slow loss is frustrating but exercise should help things along.  You should have more great weeks ahead.

Oh my dear sister in the struggle,  I hear you, I feel you, and I know your frustration all to well and I wish you peace.

You know we have shared this issue for a long, long, time now and it feels like we have one leg and are spinning in circles, but we have to keep trying.

I am aways in your corner

Thanks luv, you are always propping me up.  I'd loose my mind if there was no one else doing right yet the body is acting wrong.  Since August I've hit the same number about four times then started gaining.  Always about 4 lbs above my lowest weight.

What is your body fat %? What are the chances that you don't have any more fat to burn off and the extra weight is muscle?
I have been looking in them mirror to see if there are any changes. My scale continues to reach 180.6 and then bounce back to 184. I don't know what to think. I figure maybe this is where my body is suppose to be. Only because I see my stomach still as big as ever I feel I need to lose more. So, got me to thinking. If I got myself a tummy tuck would I stt feel l ike I need to lose another 20lbs?
Yesterday same as every day. not enough water but everything else was good. Water may be keeping from losing, so today I will drink crytal lite to get in my liquids.

I wi**** was muscle but my fat % has risen.  My lean muscle mass has not varied much over the past two years.  I estimate the percentage by measurement and by a scale with fa****er %'s.

Scales will show a lower body fat % if you are retaining water.  I use the dept of defense and ymca calculations as my most reliable self guidance.  Of course I would love a professional measurement along with bmr/ rmr.

Drink up today.  Liquids can make a difference in your weightloss.  Another reason to sip sip sip.
