I got my surgery date!!
My surgeon's office had a cancellation and I'm scheduled for Feb. 17th!!! Originally they were telling me that I could expect to be scheduled in March...but I got Feb. 17th!!
I've gotten the run around with my surgeon's office coordinator but all of the BS will soon be a distant memory. Time to get everything I'm going to need. I'm sooooo excited. Can't wait to start this new phase of my life!

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Hello, I am new to the board...I have gone thru the process recently informed of my surgery date. It was scheduled for March 7th, however, my husand is out of town that week..So, I scheduled
for April..After my surgeon explained the process to my hubby, he is now leary of the procedure. He has concerns regarding the "foreign" object in my body, and the fact the port will remain w/me for the rest of my life.. I am aware of this and accept the reality of the matter. I have to admit by rescheudling the surgery it gives me more time to reassure my husband.
As I explained to the doctor, I feel the band will give me that "extra push" I need to help me achieve my goal.. Now I am on a low carb diet and loosing weight..I see this as an opportunity and I don't want to loose this opportunity!
