I hesitate to write and ask this here, but
Hi dstgirl2000, I was in your same boat when I was at about 18 months out and asked this question also because I was 19 lbs below what my surgeon wanted for me. I was even hospitalized in March of 2010 for 5 days with a picc line for nourishment. I will be 3 yrs out in Feb. and have gained 13 lbs over my lowest weight. It's soooo hard for me to maintain right now because I can eat anything (almost) and it doesn't cause me to dump. I will say to you to just follow your surgeon's advice and let your weight regulate itself. Take care.
Thanks Mrs Neenaj. I'm at a pretty good place right now and I want to stay here and be healthy and fit. I have a mental 10 lb wiggle room window, and when I get to the lower end of it, I make the adjustments to try and get back to mid levels. So overall, I'm grateful to have reached goal and maintain.

you people with your blocked profiles on here asking for advice..goodness..lol..well anyway..if you are only about a year and a half out you may not be done loosing..everyones experience is different..the goal that is set by you and your doctor is only a guestimat..only time will tell how much you will loose and how much you may or may not gain back..i know andrea has lost and totally maintains her weight..however i lost way below my goal and was down to a size 2 with a belt. (get off me Lee with any skinny comments)..but then i gained some back..but i also didn't really eat before..it really is up to you..as for the bobble head thing..shoot bobble your skinny ace on..lol..i think that is more so that you just have a different look then you have had for a while..you dont look booble head to me on your profile pic, however your profile is blocked so i dont know if you had any other pics..be Blessed!!
