OK, time to break the addiction to this sugary sweet Hawaiian Punch drink with Splenda.
I am eating right and I think it is time that I stop with it because it may be triggering me wanting other sweet stuff. I think I will substitute it with blueberries, or apples, or oranges or something natural.
I also over the past couple of months have become addicted to coffee and it's only because I was eating those dam mini chocolate doughnuts and they are yummy with coffee. I was also having a cup of coffee every night right before I went to sleep because it helps me sleep. Well i'm happy to say I only have 1/2 cup with my breakfast in the morning, it's only been 4 days but that is HUGE for me.
I'm trying yall, I think i'm going to do this. I think I can, I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN.........
Now I just need to know I can. Lord please continue to help me.

I just did it. My drink mix single consumtion was out of control. I tapered off by increasing the water to 25 oz then to 32 oz. Then flavored water (I use baking extracts). I'm still on the sweets which is why I switched to the liquid splenda, but I'm getting better.
Also, I make a low cal mocha: 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder; 2 tsp instant espresso; 3 oz unsweetened almond milk (or what ever you use) 13 oz water; liquid splenda (or what ever you use) . Calories 18, fat 1.5g, carbs 1.8g, net carbs 0.7g, protein 0.6g. Its sweet and chocolate but I do miss having something to chew on.

Yeah it's a horrible habbit, it's like as soon as I decided to stop eating junk I started drinking 3 water bottles a day of that drink, justifying it by saying it was my way of getting my water in. No More.
I am not going to the unsweetened cocoa either because I have 3 boxes under the cabinet from it being my last addiction before coffee.
I get addicted to stuff really fast it's ridiculous.

You are doing such a wonderful job! Breaking away from triggers and resisting "bad" foods. Each day reminding yourself of your goal is the way to go. I am starting to stick with my program. Some moments are harder than others, but the more I hang in there the easier it becomes. I start ed to know that I can do this. I use to think how long can I do this. Now It is I have to do this for however long it takes. Keep up the good work Lee!

Thanks Slimming, I really think I need to just try and do it and stop complaining about it, but don't get me wrong i'm still going to complain my ass off but now i'm just going to try a little harder to keep my eating under control.
It really is the hardest thing I have ever done because i'm so addicted to candy and snacks and sugar and chocolate and all things yummy.

I feel you on eating better if I can just make it through the next hour with out eating something I will be doing a hundered precent better than I did last hour. LOL No on the real if I could just get my damn mind under control I would be skinny! My thoughts are always about treating myself to a treat. If I could just picture my self skinny all the time I many not eat so much crap.

NGQ that is exactly how I am, it's like I live to snack and it is just making me fat. I feel like such a loser and not a good "loser."
I often think to myself why the hell did you have your stomach rearranged in order to lose weight and then turn around and eat crap and fatten yourself back up, and I don't have a dam answer. But that is exactly what i'm doing, and I swore I would not be one of those people *****gained all their weight.

Hey Pickle
I've never been a fan of soft drinks but otherwise I think you and I have the same issue. Snacks, sugar, borderline bingeing. Check out chia seeds. It's too early to tell if I will have long term success in terms of weight loss, but damned if they don't do what they say they do...Get you fuller quicker and kill food cravings. ..so I'm cautiously optimistic and regardless I think they're a good addition for the health benefits anyway. I'm seriously amazed by the fact that I'm not sitting with a snack-and the vending machine was JUST filled today. Of course do your own research, but there's a bit on them below:
Now coffee is a whole nother issue. We have that nifty little Flavia machine at work (yup I finally got a damn job) And I'm downing joe like nobody's business. When I'm not here though I don't even think about it. I think it's just become routine. I've got a drawer full of tea and I do drink that as well, but I'm going to try to start reaching for that FIRST to see if it can help me break the habit. Funny thing is I don't NEED coffee, it doesn't wake me up or anything, but I have always loved the taste.
Chia Seeds
1. Help weight loss. Chia seeds are popular for weight loss. They reduce food cravings by preventing some of the food that you eat from getting absorbed into your system. This blockage of calorie absorption makes them a great diet helper.
2. Feel fuller faster: They can also help your diet by making you feel full. This is because they absorb 10 times their weight in water, forming a bulky gel.
3. Hydration for athletes: They are also great for athletes because the "chia gel" can hydrate the body.
4. Reduce your blood pressure: There's evidence to suggest they can reduce blood pressure.
5. Omega-3: They are the richest plant source of Omega-3 (the vital fats that protect against inflammationâ€"such as arthritisâ€"and heart disease). In fact, they contain more Omega-3 than salmon!
6. Benefits for diabetes: Because chia seeds slow down how fast our bodies convert carbohydrates into simple sugars, studies indicate they can control blood sugar. This leads scientists to believe chia seeds may have great benefits for diabetics.
7. They are easier to digest than flax seeds, and don't need to be ground
