I'm so sorry for your loss and will be praying for you, your mom and your family.   I don't have a problem with getting sleeping meds from my dr. and that helps me from eating through the night. It is so difficult not to turn to food and I like the suggestions you have received. If I get really hungry at night now I will either make a protein shake or eat high protein yogurt or a piece of fruit with a little protein. I pray that something works for you and I know a lot of people that take melotonin to help with sleep but I can't take it due to having asthma. Take care of yourself and your mom.

I got absolutely nothing as I'm an emotional eater too, but I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your brother.

I'm so sorry that you are going through such a storm.  Professional help may keep you from relying on food during this time.
