I have been low carbing.   Can you believe it.   I found some low carb M&M's, and low carb chocolate doughnuts, and I even found some low carb fig bars and jalepeno potato chips.  

This low carb life style is so much easier than I thought it would be.  


Thanks so much  Marcia for opening my eyes to my new life style, but I have to ask, when are my jeans going to start getting looser?  So far they feel a bit tighter,  but it may just be in my head.

It must be in your head.  With those lc snacks the pounds must be melting away.

No Damit No!!!  The pounds are not melting off and i'm wondering if I may be doing something wrong.

I have to say even though the weight is coming off slowly I am really really enjoying this diet.   I never thought eating low carb would make me so happy, but it is.  It really is  !!!!

Now about those tight jeans,  ok,  I tried them on last month and they were tight, I tried them on this month and they are even tighter, but I haven't given up on it.  I'm going to stick with the ho ho's, and ding dong's, and the Oreos.     I don't know, maybe i'm reading the labels wrong.  


Crossing my fingers that I can stay strong on this diet and that the pounds will began to "melt away" as you promised they would.

Girl, you and those lc oreos are a piece of work     .   Keep p90x ing and working it like u do.  You will get into those jeans.

That scale is no joke. It was up to a number that I hate and haven't seen in a year. I started my protein shake this morning for breakfast and a grilled chicken salad for lunch. I don't know what dinner will be but this is a serious matter and an eye opener for me.

Hi hear you Rita,  this has been a serious matter for me for 4 years now and I just keep getting fatter and fatter, no matter what diet I do, no matter how healthy I eat, no matter how much I work out.  

I don't know what the hell we are suppose to do when we do all the right things and nothing works?

Lee, I haven't been doing the right things so it's my fault. You exercise daily and I don't. My protein levels were not what they were supposed to be due to my eating habits. The only thing I've been doing right was taking my vitamins and getting water in. I can't compare my journey to yours because I've been wrong on so many levels and now it's catching up to me. That's what this board is for, to help and inform each other.

Don't put no wings on me lady friend.   I get so dam discouraged at times I will eat like a freaking pig and it is all bad.  

Yes I do workout but only and I mean ONLY because i'm afriad if I don't I will end up right back at 275 and lord knows as fat as I have gotten I just can't return to that.

   You will not return to 275 lbs because you are fighting hard not to. 

I wish we could find out why the hell the calorie deficit math does not work for folks like us.   We've got that get fat quick loose fat slow gene working against us.  Damn, if it could just be deactivated.
