Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

An early post for Monday BAF

Tell the whole truth and be accountable.  What did this morning's weigh in tell you?  Does it agree to your calorie deficit (loosing position) or surplus (gaining position) for the week?  Are you learning how to apply the numbers for your own needs?

Each of us needs to figure what makes for weight loss and maintenance for ourselves.  The opinions and theories out there on various forums mean little if they are not effective for you personally.  Understand how you best loose the lbs and maintain your wl.  Listen to what your body tells you

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

My total carbs were low enough for a night cap today while still being at induction level.  I also made up for yesterday's high cal day.  Plenty of water including plain water.  Ratios right on target.

Sunday

     Fat(g)      Carbs(g)      Net C(g)      Prot(g)      KCals
70.60 15.54 10.54 94.03 1207

I still don't have my vits straight but I'll order them in the morning.  One day down, thirteen to go for Atkins induction.  Not sure how this shot of bourbin fits in.  Perhaps its no days down, fourteen to go.  I'll have to look it up.

Any way you put it, I'm starting the year ok.  I'm within five lbs of my low again.  Hopefully this time no wight gain will kick in.  Regardless, I'm sticking to plan.  I will get back below goal and then some.

I see your numbers are moving too, congrats.  Being up late sometimes leads to eating just because.  Going to bed was a good move.

My shot of bourbon however was not.  It added a pound to the scale this morning.  No more alcohol for awhile.

yesterday was one of those hungry for no reason days. I did my best to stay on track. I did have some oreo minis and they were not even that good. I just had to try them and my mind and mouth didn't have any control. The only good this is that I still stayed in my calorie range, so it didn't make me give up altogether because of one mess up. I now know that there will be harder days than others and instead of giving into it just keep some extra low cal veggies and lean protein around because it will be rough. But I did make it through. I had to talk to myself a couple time about how bad I was to see the finish line. All this yo-yo I would have been to goal already. I have had to take back off at least 20 to 30 pounds already from gaining. What an irony. Anyways, today seems to be a little better in the hunger department. I woke up this morning enjoying my greek yogurt and half serving of kix cereal. I have a banana, but have not eaten it yet. I am not sure what will be for lunch and dinner.
Alcohol is a no no for atkins first two weeks of induction. I am staying clean of the alcohol until I reach goal. I know that is one reason for all the gain, lack of energy, and food cravings. Now I am One week not having a drink and one week of being back on track.

My one shot of liquor cost me a full pound over night.  Never again.  No booze until I'm in my below goal range.

Glad you stayed in your calorie range.  When you cross the line with foods that are not the best, and then get right back on it, you prove to yourself you can really do this.
