Lurker Roll Call & BAF Cyber Reunion - Party over here
Hey Purple!
So good to see you and know that all is going well for you. I was hooked on Sorority Life and Mafia Wars at one time on FB BUT I had to give it up....they were so addictive. I never could get on with the Farmville though...and having folks keep sending me gifts and such got annoying after a while. It seems its one of the more popular games over there. I am from the south so I think the whole Farm theme...just did not catch my interest. Wishing you all the best with you impending surgery. Thanks for stopping by.

Hey y'all. I won't get a plate because I've been eating too much junk food. My hubby cooked a turkey today (his first time) so I will be eating some of that later on. My daughter has moved back home after her internship at Disney World and she made gumbo last night. I was good earlier with my salad but grabbed some chips while reading on the computer. Everybody have a good day.
Hey Neenaj,
Thanks for checking in. Ummm I am sure that no one would be opposed if you wanted to come back later and share a little of that turkey and jumbo. I know it probably not much better...but I purchase the SunChips when I have a taste for something crunchy and salty....I think its a better option that Lays or Doritos...although those Baked Lays aren't bad. Take it easy and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Hello Everyone I just stopped by for a plate it doesn't have to be a full size plate I'll take a saucer :)
All is well over here although I have been eating like a baby hippo! My size 8 jeans have gotten a little too snug (actually a lot snug) and the scale has crept up a couple of pounds. With that being said I am still 20 pounds from my personal goal. I was once 15 pounds away from goal. I'm back on track, taking vitamins, drinking fluids and planning weekly menu's.
My problems started on Halloween munching candy and now I can't turn off the sweet monster...cakes, apple pie, cookies, crackers & candy you name it. NO I DON"T DUMP ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I'm getting back on track and giving up the carbs.
Thanks for the reunion and getting the board popping! You got any sweet tea to go with my plate........oh that's right no eating and drinking at the same time LOL

Change is a Process Not an Event
OMG!!! The Halloween Candy got you too. I told my kids that they will not be trick or treating next year but that we will have a party instead. I still have a freezer full of Halloween Candy that I can not bring myself to throw out....I just can't do it...especially when I think about the starving kids that would give their right foot for all that candy. I just can't do it!! Thanks for stopping by...see you on the board!
Hey Fam,
I normally don't post much except for the Sunday dinner thread but just wanted to give my update since my surgery 1/2008. Lost over 150lbs since surgery - went from a size 24 to a size 9/10. Currently still in a size 10 but unfortunately I did gain about 10-15lbs and now my ten's are quite snug and I have to go back to my size 11's and I also have the dreaded muffin top - bye bye skinny jeans lol. Now that the holidays are over I'm working to get back on track - taking vitamins, biotin, calcium & vitamin C. Drink 3-4 cups of green tea per day and I am starting to walk during my lunch break. My weakness is also sweets as the previous poster mentioned - i can throw down on cookies, brownies etc and sometimes it affects and sometimes it doesnt. My goals is to lose 15 lbs by March. Hope everyone has a great week
